We all judge everyone Based on the cover We never read the book People always jump to the conclusion That we are different on the outside Don’t act like you never Looked at the cover of a book And never read the pages And jumped to the conclusion That the book is horrible Or that the book is awesome Don’t act like you were Never in our situation Don’t act like you Never felt ashamed Because you judged a book Or a person by its appearance Don’t act like you Never felt hut or depressed Because you were on The receiving ends of those judgments I don’t understand why People live under a cloud Of denial Of misconception Of misunderstanding Read the first chapter of our books And you will see that We are sons and daughters We are brothers and sisters We are friends Read the second chapter And you will see that We are students We are of different ethnicity We are of different religion Read the rest of the book And you will see that We are no different From everyone else We are all humans We are all God’s children The covers of our books May be different But the chapters are the same Conclusion: we ain’t that different
