One may walk away but it doesn't prevent them from looking back,
For I am the one who has learnt to move on,
But needless say every song reminds me of you,
Every sleepless night is spent thinking about you,
Every morning I wake up to the thought of you,
Which makes me think,
We were encouraging an inevitable downward spiral in an attempt to hold on to the little we had left,
Maybe we were too attached, trapped in one another's world.
There's no place like home,
I suppose that's where we went,
Only we went a different route, you took me to the stars and I showed you the moon, you showed me happiness and I gave you my trust.
But for trust consists of an "us",
And quite frankly,
Those days are over.
