a poem for my cat!

.

.

.

at the end of a long work week, she could feel the universe

and it felt like

walking backwards.

she wanted to turn the key, sighing,

step into everything that is dark

and cuddle with her feline friend,

whom thousands of years ago

were worshiped idols.

And she lost herself in her own solitary soul

her cat purring, resting on her lap

like a imperial sphinx.

.
