Oh, my love
you are so distant
you shine with a beauty
like the stars
that hang in the black velvet sky.
oh, you are the source
of my life
and by the love of you
ever beats my heart.
Oh, how I dream of you
your soft warm breath
and the gentle touch
of your fingertips
like raindrops upon my face.
Oh, the memory of you
will follow you through the eternity of time
and oh, how you are an everlasting love song
that my heart sings of you and to you.
Oh, when ever will we meet
and I can hold you in my loving arms
and love you and kiss you
as the sun loves and kisses the flower.
Oh, I cannot live without you
for you are ever part of my soul
you hold in your hands
the center of my heart and soul.
And by love
you are attached to me
by tiny invisible threads
that are ever stronger than steel
able to bear the weight of the world
and ever more.
Oh, my haunting dream
and phantom of desire
I shall love you
through all the days of time
and ever and ever
deep into eternity
than the mind can fathom.
