Perfect Night

The lights are low

As you walk toward me

Our mouths meet

Our hands explore

Your fingers caress my face

Slow gentle kisses become urgent

As you press me against the wall

The look in your eyes

Tells me louder than words

Where this night will end

Your hands tremble

As you unbutton my shirt

Your kisses trail lower

As your eyes search mine

For approval

With uncertainty I reach for you

Wondering if I’ve lost my mind

You take my hand

And lead me to your room

Inside the door

You hesitate

Giving me time to decide

Yes or No

It’s up to me

Friends or Lovers

There’s no turning back

It’s too late for that

Lying in your arms

Feeling your need

Tangled arms and legs

Love and passion

This night was heaven

And you are my angel

Who taught me how to love

Again
