there is a tragedy
in life

a pointlessness

that’s what religion is for
I suppose

or philosophy
or politics
or tight nit
family

but I don’t need it
why should I?

most need something though
apparently

so I suppose they know
the tragedy too

they know the
pointlessness

but they go to bed crying
and I wake up to brighter day
every morning
