A pedestal is no place for a friend
tough to reach them should you need a sympathetic embrace.
Nor should monuments be built
for then the pressure's on them to fulfill the grandeur.
Bronzing is a no,
smelting makes it hard to impart advice.
Just keep your friends close,
that is the ultimate honor.
