death is not an option
for the men who are destined
to do great things

the only choice
for them is how far their
journey will take them
and how hard their
path will
be

those meant
to go down in history
books all know it

they don’t discuss it
neither are they ever
entirely sure of their
fate

they know though,
they know they don’t get
to choose when their
work ends, only
where

so in a way,
death isn’t
easier

to ask the future
legends of humanity
to end themselves
too soon

that is an impossible
task
