God graced us with your presence
And although it was brief
We were blessed to have you in our life.
Nothing could ever change the joy you brought
The laughter you graced us with
The smiles that brightened our day
Although they are gone
One day we will be reunited.
And even then we will be smiling
Like nothing was ever wrong from the start.
Heaven took its angel
Saying he was needed
But that he would watch over us all.
God sent an angel to protect us
And now that his job is done
He’s watching from Heaven.
Sending us messages in subtle ways
Letting us know everything will be okay.
And although our hearts are breaking on this day
And our world has dimmed a little
The candle flickering in the wind
Know it shall never be put out
And we will never let your memory fade
And your love will never be replaced in our hearts.
One day we will see you again
And the world will be lit up
And we shall laugh and rejoice
Forever in eternity
A delicate flower that swayed in the wind
Wilted for a time
But life has breathed into it a second time
Giving it a second chance at life
But we cannot see it nor feel it
But know that it is there
Invisible but a guiding light
Like a lighthouse guiding ships from their watery graves
An unseen force pushing us to our limits
The sweet aroma leading us to our desires
A hand showing us that life will continue to go on
