You are trying to fly
Wanting to escape from the world
Yet they keep you caged
Locked behind steel bars
Your piercing eyes capture my attention
Your tiny voice cries out for help
I stand outside your world
Gazing in upon the world created for you
Your world seems to be crumbling
The loud cries become less heard
Tolerable, no
Understood, no
Heard by one person, yes
Slowly the lock is let loose
And you soar through the air
Flying to anywhere
