If I was a dog, I'd bite
And you may be one now,
But at least you're right
And if I was a cat, I'd scratch
Pouncing on air,
Just missing your lap
Babe if I was a bird, I'd sing
I'd be the kind of canary
You'd be too afraid
To send into a mine,
That's what you are at all times
Even when I seem unsure
I'm a maybe at best,
For sure
