Anticipation for the warmest sensation
A realization that there is no trepidation
We shall call it a season of bright bliss
Paradise worth more than a sunset kiss
Where radiance combines with rapture
Where gratification is easy to capture
Whether it’s outside under earth’s star
Or windows down, beach side in a car
Within this season there can never be too much
Of something you can simply obtain, but can not touch
You can call it joy or success, contentment or bless
Fortune that comes without a pinch of stress
Summertime and the living is weather
Happiness and the living is better
