Night breezes cool hot cheeks,
But breezes can only be fleeting.
My skin can't cool for long
Because my temper's so hot.

Every car that passes,
I wonder if it's you.
It never is.
And I know better than to really hope.

You should know to find me here.
If you would think, you would know.
I guess it's just your
Selective memory acting up again.

You say you don't want to leave us like this
But you didn't seem to mind making us this way.
Maybe you should pick a direction you want us to go.

I can't keep doing this.
