Few come by just to stop and see

I stand here waiting Simply alone in my glory Swaying in the breeze As the days grow older My heart grows colder I tire of waiting for thee I once was young I once loved with a heart so pure I once would have given you the world Now I've been left to see Simply standing Hoping you'll come back to me But few come just to see And none of the few are ever thee So though I've loved And though I've cried Now I know That inside I've simply died
