I hold out my hand
not to beg
but so it can be grabbed

I hold out my finger
not to blame
But to show the way

I hold out my palm
not to recieve
but to give a gift

I hold out my fist
not in anger
but so it can protect

But you stand there
arms crossed
Not willing to grab the hand
to pull you
Into the direction I have shown
that leads to
the gift I have offered
in my love
That offers my protection
from the world
