Tears,
the residue of painful memory
or loving far too much
woeful sad regret
or loss of someone's touch.
A period of despondency
malaise as grief takes hold
despair or intervention
of life's tormenting scold.
A never ending game
of challenging events
no wonder tears are shed
through ducts they circumvent.
Crocodile tears are soulless
never worth a mention
genuine tears will flow
in times of extreme tension.
