Oh, my love how can I forget you
If i forget you let me forget my right arm.
Oh, you are the center of my world
you are as close as the beat of my heart
and you will forever live in my soul.
Oh, the wonder of your face
and lovely form
shall live in my mind and soul
till time shall run its course
and days and hours shall be no more.
Oh, how the love of you haunts my waking hours
and I seek your form
through soft mystic visions
through the hours of the night.
Oh, how I long to caress
your soft gentle fingers.
Oh, if I could only hold you
in an endless embrace.
Oh, how my infinite longing
cries out for you.
Oh, you are my life
the beat of my heart
the very breath I take
and I shall seek your love
forever and a day
till the river of time runs dry
and is no more.
