Today I found a mirror
shattered, old, and forgotten;
in some godforsaken place deep within my mind.
The reflections were misconstrued and devious, playing with my eyes;
leading me to believe there was truth in all my lies.
I stared deeper into the abyss of a million tiny cracks,
only to find the other side clouded, dark, and black.
It's true after all what they say about every life.
There's something broken in us all behind the flooding light.
