Though covered by heavens light
I fall out and scream in the brisk  of night
My wings spread out and take flight
I am a black bird in the brisk of night
I see nothing my black heart beats
I do not dream for nightmares creep
My black hair so thick and long it could be mistaken for the night itself
Eyes like blood but more like something else
My black heart beats with no steady beat with every lifeless breath I take I wait for it to stay
I scream in twilight's light
I scream until the brisk of night
I am a angel in twilight's light
But in the brisk of night
I am a black bird ready to take flight
