Oh, you are the daughter of the moon
who shines down his light
upon the dark earth at night
and keeps all the dark spirits at bay.
You are a light that shines
through the darkness and all the world is changed
by the love in your heart.
Oh, how the world
would be such a sadder
and colder place without you.
On how you melt my heart
with the light and warmth
of your gaze
and I am transformed
from the creature I am
and the life of my soul is reborn.
Oh, you are the first flower of creation
by which hope springs into the world
and I will sing of your grace
and lovely form
through out all the endless days of eternity.
