Jar
Purple symmetry
Knives
Slices of chemistry

Dry
Nestled on the stove
I know why
I wasn’t told.

All the measurements on the rim
And the layers paper thin

Heavier than yesterday
Is the new glass
I almost tripped.
Reflexes move fast.

Scoops of jelly
Spoons
Slippery symmetry

After I am finish
Impatiently
My thoughts diminish

On the couch
In grocery dreaming
I devour the meaning.

My words are young.
I test contents on my tongue.

I rode the gluey spread
Because my thoughts were sandwiched
When I taste the bread
