When I read my horoscope I’ll read yours too and find out if it’ll be me you’ll need at night. And when I check the weather, I’ll check your towns first. And if the sky is soon to storm, think of me with you. You’ve always loved storms and I love the way you look watching from the front porch step, wrapped in a blanket, just enjoying the show. I remember when you said thunder helps you sleep at night because it’s louder than the silence. So when you’re wrestling and restless, I’ll be standing under the water in a town away from yours. I’ll turn the water cold and wrap myself in arms. I’ll turn off the lights and squeeze my eyes tight and when you hear the thunder smash it’ll be my heart pounding out of my chest and when you see the lightening crash it’ll be me gasping for my breath and you’ll revel under the weight of the sky. I’ll send you storms at night and show you how loud love can be and you can watch as I unfold the sky from three hundred miles away in a room too small to hold me.
