Drunkend
I remember talking to you in jail
through a cinder wall
You sounded scared.
I had been arrested
for worse things
You made bail first.
I remember saying goodbye.
You said something romantic
“You will be back”
or
something more down to earth.
I remember you being the only girl
why did they arrest you?
Why did they arrest any of us
who cares
memories are what makes the drunken
drunked dranked periods fun.
