Oh, how you torture me!
how I always live in fear
of the loss of your love.
Oh, how your lovely eyes and lovely form
torture me in my dreams
with the loss of your love.
Oh, I love you beyond all
I could have ever imagined!
You are the wind that blows softly against my cheek.
I put forth my hand
seeking to touch your lovely form
and you blow through my fingers and are gone
and I weep because you are gone.
Oh, come and dry my tears
as you caress my face
with your soft and gentle fingers.
Oh, I live by the light
that shines from the love in your heart
as the earth lives upon the light of the sun
that shines on the cold land
upon a cold winter's morning
to melt the frost from the earth
and return it to life.
Oh, you are the life within me soul!
Only you can kiss my dying lips
and make my heart beat once again!
Only you can restore hope
when all my hope is gone
And I must long for
and seek your love forever
through all the future days without end.
