She held the pen in her hand for three hours straight staring at the blank piece of paper. She wanted to write you a story that would make you notice her and she didn't know where to start. She knew the only girls that ever got into your heart were the girls with something. The perfect body and a lot of money, or that girl who won 6 awards for her art. She wanted to show you she was worthy of your loving by writing you a story. She was always too afraid to show anyone her creations, but you were different she saw how you took care of the girls you loved and she needed that. She sat there hoping something would come to mind, and it didn't. And she never took that as a sign that maybe she shouldn't love you, maybe she shouldn't have to write a brilliant story to make you fall in love. Maybe if she thought more realistically she would see a boy already loved her for everything she was. Her sister once told her "never love someone for what they could be, love them for who they are." And she never put together that she loved him for how he could act towards her and not how he did. So when she swallowed 68 pills and drank 3 bottles of ***** and was rushed to the hospital and you still never noticed her how... How did she not understand that you are not worthy of her greatness? This girl had beautiful green eyes that shined brighter than the sun when she talked about things she loved. Her laugh was so gentle, it made the flowers bloom. Her smile was captivating and no one could tear their gazes from it. Every guy wanted her and you couldn't even remember her name. You called her different names every single time but she never corrected you and you never noticed you said it wrong. The day you asked for her number was the day she thought everything would get better. She ran home that day telling her sister what happened and when you called and ask her to talk to her best friend for you, my god. You could've been the one to save her. You went to her funeral, and no one understood why. The whole world knew she loved you and you always turned her away. Her sister is the one that gave you the note. It was addressed to you. "If I succeed please give this to Louis." You read the 8 page story and on the last page she explained, "I tried for an entire year to write a story to make you notice me. I fell in love with you from a distance and I wanted you to notice my talent and love me. But the realization that no amount of talent would ever even make you remember my name sank in, I finished my story. My book. My life. " and that's the story that made him fall in love with a girl who is no longer here.
