In the Ordinary Sense of Things
when its raining cats and dogs,
it puts me in the mood
to hide myself in murd'rous fog,
exhale,
comme d'habitude
.
when above i see pigs fly,
into my brain intrude
the wraiths which yank me from this sty
and wail,
comme d'habitude
.
when you see me break a leg,
no limelight to accrue,
but anguish dripping from my head
to lurk,
comme d'habitude
.
if that day when Hell does freeze
will come to pass so soon,
i'll climb the cliffs, salute the breeze,
and jump,
comme d'habitude
.
