You Brought Me Here

Before you came,

I'm on the darkest,

And that you brought a candle,

Lighten up my way.

I'm at the lowest,

And that you brought a ladder,

Asked me to join you at the peak.

I'm on the dirtiest,

And that you brought a broom,

Swept off the filth.

I'm on my own,

And that you brought yourself,

Offered to stay.

All you brought me,

Brought me here.
