I just want to ask you if it would be alright
With you if I were to address a love poem to you
And submit it to hello poetry

I 'll say very little about you ( don't worry ! )
and the poem will be mostly about me
And the wondrous feelings of love I have for you
( though , of course , I will probably -- For honesty 's sake --
Have to mention how I much pain you have cause me
By forcing me to be jealous concerning
The bitch who keeps trying to steal you from me )
I just want my fellow poets to know me completely
And since you are the most important thing
In life to me
If not the only real thing in my life
I would like to do this
And I hope you won't mind
Now
I know how much you respect your privacy
So I won't address a poem to you
Without your permission
I think you might consider a poem
Written like this about someone
To be rude and disrespectful
And you are probably right
But love is a give and take
And I do so crave the praise of my
Fellow poets
So I can only beg you to allow me
