Jun 2015
It's summer now.
May has come and gone, June is nearly done.
My hair is pulled up
and so are my spirits.

I take note of the way I feel
because it might just be the feeling of redemption.
Maybe I'm not cursed,
perhaps I've been cured!

Lemonade and iced tea,
you sit on the front porch with me.
It's almost bittersweet how you ignored me for so long
and today we both smiled with the morning sun.
