The One

There’s this girl I know and she’s so incredibly cool, And she is far from being a fool. I absolutely love the way she smiles at me, And when I’m around her, she’s the only one I see. She’s the one I want to hold, But about this, no one I have told. But to her I want to show My real feelings so that she’ll know That I want to be with her forever and always And I pray we never choose to go “our separate ways”. I really want to be a part of her life But not knowing if that’s what she wants causes me much strife. If she doesn’t, that’s okay, I want her to be happy. And if she’s not sure, I’m patient, I won’t say, “Make it snappy!” Right now she is the best friend I have got, (and could ever have) And to me what she thinks and feels means a lot. I really do care about her as a person. And for that there is a really good reason. That reason being that she is such an awesome person.
