So many people are afraid of death.
They hope they’ll never take their last breath.
Me, I can’t wait until I die,
So that I can see the God Most High.
That doesn’t mean I want to die,
It just means that I’m not shy,
Of taking my last breath,
Nor am I continuously thinking of my death.
But I know through His Word
That when I die, it won’t be with a sword.
Because, thanks to a little bird,
I know that I will be with my Lord.
