Can't

Look, I know that you are already going out with someone, And I want you to know that I respect that, And I hope that it’s your heart he has won. I also want you to know that I won’t try to break you up, I’m not like that. I want you to be with whomever you want to, If you’re happy, then so am I. Just as long as you’re able to do what you want to do. But I must admit that I envy this guy, ‘Cuz he gets to spend all this time with you. I may not know who he is, But if you trust him, then I do, too. The thing is, You’re always on my mind, Which can’t be very good, Unless someone else, I can find, But I’m sure that I’ll never be able to find someone like you, or even half as good. What I’m trying to say, Is that I understand that I can’t be with you. I know I can’t always have my way, But I can at least always be there for you…
