Choice

by james-greenfield

If I had had the choice to love or not to love you, I would have chosen not to love you. You had the choice to love or not to love me, And you chose not to love me. If I had had the choice and I chose not to love you, It would be because I could not survive loving you, When you do not love me. But I did not have this choice, My heart has made this choice for me, And my mind cannot change the way my heart feels for you.
