You ask me what I want for Christmas, this I'll tell you true,
For on this day I'd like to see, the whole world in a truce.
A truce that would last from year to year,
And bring peace throughout the land,
Neighbors helping neighbors, each lending a helping hand.

You ask me what I want for Christmas, this I'll tell you too,
I'd like to see the forest green and skies of sparkling blue.
I'd like to see the ocean waves rushing to the shore,
Clean and pure and free of trash,
I'd like to see the ocean floor.

You ask me what I want for Christmas, this I'll tell you now,
I'd like to have a baby brother, we can wrap him in my towel.
Do you think I ask to much, this I asked my mother,
When she said I think you did,
I told her to forget the baby brother.
