I dreamt about you Daddy.
I remember every word.
You told me how you had to leave.
To a different world.
You told me to be strong.
And how I feel isn't wrong.
I'm sorry Daddy.
The pain sang you this song.
You tried.
We cried.
Having to say goodbye.
That final look in your eye.
I just knew that you would die.
Reaching to the stars.
I feel you so far away.
Yet close in almost every way.
Words you would say still float around this day.
I wish there was away.
Just to say.
I love you Daddy.
Nights bring my dreams.
And.
Those are beams.
Full of light forever bright.
