You were there, outside my window,
In a brand new suit and tie.
I let you in, because I thought I
Was a mess, you'd wear with pride.
You, pulled my dress off
And laid me down, for the first time.
I let you in, because in my heart I'm
Just so naive.
You were there, inside my mind,
Still in that, sweet pink tie.
And you became, the twinkle in my eye,
And every single, star in my sky.
I, fell so in love with
You, my reason, and my rhyme.
And my dear, it'd be a crime,
If our love burned out before its time.
And darling you,
Are just so sublime
Standing out there, in that suit and tie.
But its been forever since,
You were out there.
Now you're only, in my mind.
