I'll stay a while
Meadow of dancing dandelions
Waving, olive shreds of grass
I lay beneath ocean skies of blue
sun embrace, like a painted scarf
Tree spirits and faeries whisper
the birds are singing to the bees
In the warmth of summer sun
flow secrets on a gentle breeze
I lay beneath the apple tree
dungarees, straw hat and smile
I could lay here for my lifetime
But instead I'll stay a while
