Oh, there is a thorn
a thorn that ****** my heart
and fills me with a sad longing
to hold you in my arms
and tell you how deeply I love you
to let you know all the deep things of my heart.
Oh, how I cried all the night long
when I was so afraid
that you would be forever lost from me.
Oh, how I danced with you in days gone by
as my heart danced to an internal rhythm
of my heart with yours.
Oh, how I cherished the soft touch
of your lovely hand within mine.
Oh, how My thoughts of you fill my days.
Oh, how you have ever captured me
in chains of your soft flesh
and your lovely dark eyes
portals to my enchanted dream.
Oh, how I am forever lost
in this overpowering love
and in those chains I shall remain
as long as days shall last.
