Poems
Aug 2011
morning
morning
dawn
early still...
the sun rises
the earth, born again
a dewy mist
covers the ground
cool, but not cold
comfortable i guess you could say
butterflies beckoning
birds chirping
squirrels playful, playing
trees, leaves,
branches long and strong
grass green
and brown
and green
and brown
and green
and brown
a world anew
its air fresh
its breath, breathing
i too, am breathing
i rejoice
i am awake
i am greatful
i am alive...
