Oh, if you only knew
how you have been a thorn
to ***** my heart so.
Oh, how sharper than a serpents tooth!
But oh, how you have become
the life blood of my soul.
How your warm breath
flows through me
and my soul dances
to the beating of your heart.
Oh, how I wish in this life
or in another to come
that we could walk hand in hand
to talk as lover to lover.
Oh, how my heart lies
in chains and shackles
and bleeds its ****** tears
in its desperate hope for your love.
Oh, how without you
how my body and soul
shall crack and dissolve into dust.
Oh, how you are my world.
The hope that lives in my soul.
A desperate hope
against hope and cruel reason
that the day shall dawn
that you will take me
into your arms
and tell of the love
you have for me.
