A Tragic Ending

A tragic ending is about to occur

Shes crying her heart out

"This must be a nightmare!"

Truth be told

Reality isn't fair

But time moves on

This is something you should know

As the story dies out

Its the end of the show

Watch your heart bleed out

Watch the light fade away

Watch your last breath

In this cold winters day

Give up on these feelings

Give up on these hopes

Get over yourself

Before you choke

So its best that you forget

Its best you never knew

Its best that you walk away

All I wanted was to save you

But alas I have failed

Your chance I have stolen

If you pay attention at all

You'll see this hero has fallen

So I throw up my cape

All battered and torn

In hopes that this future

Has a new hero to be born

As the hero pulls the trigger

It seems her cries are drowned

Right there her life falls apart

As the hero's body hits the ground

"This must be a nightmare.."

A tragic ending has just occurred.

(This is the day I die, The day I'm forgotten, And the day I'm born anew)
