Aug 2011
gasoline was at six fifty
for a car that barely drives
that rains inside
usually seats strangers
that smoke that have to smoke
as the wipers sway across the windshield
not doing what i proposed
then unremembered
my tired face buried
in the pillow case
water
there is none around me
none raining inside
none dancing down glass
i need a drink
of water
