It was if we were supercharged,
riding white lightning,
fearless,
we walked through
walls,
smashed down doors,
intimidating
even the cockroaches,
dogs barked,
a rooster crowed.
What happened in the shack,
stayed in the shack,
some never left,
victims of modern
warfare.
