The Night Mind Wanders

How can a person's heart erase

A memory of a warm embrace

Could time ever stop its flow

to heartbreak as I watch you go

I turn away.

Don't watch me keep my tears at bay

I know that we will meet again

But Winter seems to never end

Darker bleaker grows each day

I do too in misery

Alone I stay.

Are you but a dream to me?
