Late at Night Hangout

by RKT

Going to their late at night hang out At their friend's house they left a note She sat down on the tire swing And you swung her underneath your wing No one was there, it was just you and her You put your hands on her shoulder She found herself looking in your eyes Never got to say goodbye [Chorus] We're the new faces of the broken hearted As our spirits suddenly parted There's a white light pulling her through the door But before she goes she wants you to know; She'll send you x's and o's Sitting alone on the bench over there With the sun setting just right here Setting on her, she's so pretty But no one sees her in this city Right over there she sees a payphone She tries to reach him; no answer Can she make it on her own It seems like this life haunts her [Chorus] She finds him at their late at night hang out Holding flowers and a small note She watches as tears fill his eyes He never got to say goodbye [Chorus] She wants you to know [x 7] She'll send you ex's and oh's
