A home is some where you feel safe
And no one can take away
Where you are comfortable
You are who you are
You don't have to keep up appearances
Or hide the unknown
A home is something you can call your own
You aren’t ashamed
You never have to run
Lay your stuff where you want
Rest and relax
And know
This place is your home
I know the meaning of the word
But I have never truly experienced it
For I know that when comfort comes
Disruption is not far behind
No place has ever been forever to me
I have lost everything
Therefor I have learned
If you expect nothing
Then nothing can be taken or lost
