If love be mine then sweetest lips i desire,
to touch my heart in its cold palace
reawaken the embers once burning strong
and cleanse the drink of my tainted chalace.

From my heart an open door erstwhile kept shut,
hidden from mine eye and world,
now beconing thine heart to enter in
and allow my life to be unfurled.

If true love be found though open door,
in certainty already conceived
longing made past, dejection absolved
two lives become eternally cleaved
