Once Lost, Forever Forgotten

This is a poem for all the lost things.

The lost socks and pocket books,

The lost remote that was never found.

All the lost lines inside your head,

All the words left unsaid.

The lost hopes,

The unreachable dreams,

This is a poem for these.

This is a poem for all the forgotten.

The forgotten sweaters that can't shed a tear,

The meals that go uneaten.

This is a poem for all the forgotten friends,

Memories,

And lingering touch of a lover.

This is a poem for all the lost souls.

This is a poem for the forever forgotten.
