When you find the one,
That turns you to a lover;
Your heart breaks in two,
When that one, loves another.

Broken, shattered,
Distraught within:
Loving so much,
Must have been sin.

Terrified at first;
Not jinxing it was my goal.
Although we never touched,
You took my heart and soul.

I give my best effort,
To win it all back…
But time has gone by,
And travel is what I lack.

But like I said,
Once before;
You stole my heart,
And shut the door.

Too late now,
For more internal strife.
You’re long gone by now,
In…and out of…my life
