When it was time to reflect,
I'd always fill up the igloo,
fuel the jeep,
buy some bacon & eggs
& tumble out
into the wilderness.
And it was there,
under God's
little
twinkling lanterns,
hanging solo
around the campfire,
usually dancing in a naked haze
of true grit & whiskey,
I'd find balance.
